Privacy Policy

DT Swift Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services provided on this website (hereinafter “the Services”).

Article 1: Personal Information
“Personal information” refers to the meaning defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and includes information about living individuals that can identify them, such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, and other descriptors, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voice prints, or health insurance ID numbers, which can individually identify a person.

Article 2: Methods of Collecting Personal Information
The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number when users register for the Services. Additionally, the Company may collect users’ personal information from business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad distribution partners; hereinafter “partners”) regarding transactions, payment records, or other information exchanged between the user and such partners.

Article 3: Purpose of Using Personal Information
The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Services.

  • To respond to user inquiries (including identity verification).

  • To send emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, or other Services provided by the Company.

  • To provide notifications such as maintenance or important announcements.

  • To identify users who violate terms of use or attempt to use the Services for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to refuse service.

  • To allow users to view, modify, delete, or check their registration information and usage status.

  • To bill users for paid services.

  • For purposes incidental to the above.

  • Users will be notified or the changes will be published on the website when the purpose of use is changed.

  • When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult.

  • When necessary for public health or sound development of children and obtaining consent is difficult.

  • When required to cooperate with national or local government agencies or their delegates for legally prescribed duties, and obtaining consent may hinder those duties.

Even when third-party provision is included, the Company may delegate personal information handling as necessary, or provide it in cases of business succession, mergers, or joint use with notification of the scope and responsible parties.

Article 6: Disclosure of Personal Information
Upon request, the Company will disclose personal information to the individual without delay. However, disclosure may be partially or fully withheld if:

  • Disclosure could harm the life, body, property, or rights of the individual or a third party.

  • Disclosure would significantly obstruct proper business operations.

  • Disclosure would violate laws or regulations.

A fee of 1,000 JPY per request will apply. Non-personal information such as history or characteristic information is generally not disclosed.

 

Article 7: Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

  • Users may request correction, addition, or deletion of inaccurate personal information according to Company procedures.

  • The Company will promptly make corrections if deemed necessary and notify the user.

Article 8: Suspension of Use

  • Users may request suspension or deletion of personal information if it is being used beyond the intended purpose or obtained by improper means.

  • The Company will investigate and, if necessary, promptly take action and notify the user.

  • If suspension or deletion is difficult due to high cost or other reasons, alternative measures will be taken to protect users’ rights.

Article 9: Changes to Privacy Policy

  • This Policy may be changed without notice, except as required by law.

  • The revised Policy becomes effective when posted on the website unless otherwise specified.
